Problem Framing & Stakeholder Alignment

I led cross-functional workshops with product, engineering, compliance, and executive stakeholders to define the core business and user problems. In a highly regulated crypto-banking environment, this step focused on aligning around risk tolerance, trust requirements, and success metrics. Together, we clarified the product’s role within the broader financial ecosystem, established guardrails for security and compliance, and prioritized outcomes tied to adoption, retention, and transaction confidence.

Research Strategy & Insight Synthesis

I directed the research team in conducting a mix of qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, behavioral analysis, and competitive audits across fintech and crypto platforms. My role was to ensure insights were translated into clear, actionable design principles—balancing user trust, simplicity, and transparency. These insights informed key decisions around onboarding, authentication, asset visibility, and transaction flows.

Experience Strategy & Design Execution

Working closely with design leads, I guided the team in translating research into an experience strategy that simplified complex financial concepts without sacrificing credibility or control. We defined system-level patterns, interaction models, and service flows that could scale across accounts, assets, and future product expansion. I reviewed work at critical milestones, helping the team navigate trade-offs between usability, security, and business constraints while maintaining a cohesive product vision.

Validation, Launch & Iteration

I partnered with product and data teams to validate designs through usability testing, pilot releases, and post-launch analytics. We measured success against defined KPIs such as onboarding completion, transaction success rates, and user confidence signals. Insights from launch informed iterative improvements, design system refinements, and future roadmap decisions—ensuring the product continued to evolve with both user needs and the crypto market landscape.
