‘Ridiculously efficient’ is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Joe. I have been working with Joe for over an year, collaborating on several projects. He is creative, client focused, and detail oriented person. When it comes to providing best user experience, Joe is your destination. I was particularly impressed by Joe’s ability to handle even the toughest clients—effortlessly. That skill often takes years to develop, but it seemed to come perfectly naturally to him.

Joe and I worked together on the Toyota Owners platform. It’s a tangled mess of backend services that you have to be curious, intelligent and tenacious to wind through. Joe is all of those and more. He tackles complex systems with passion and enthusiasm. He is always striving to distil endless amounts of backend wormholes into a single, seamless experience for the user. For me, Joe has set the benchmark for the approach and thoughtfulness that I expect from other UX designers.

Most UX designers aren’t great at graphic design. Most graphic designers aren’t great at UX. In a way that still leaves me perplexed, Joe is incredibly talented in both fields. His mastery of wireframing and prototyping is matched by his proficiency in typography, color and composition. More important than all of these however is the fact that he’s a genuinely awesome coworker. Never any attitude, never any ego. Always happy to do whatever it takes to deliver the best possible user experience. Regardless of the task at hand, Joe’s serious passion for technology and focus on the user always comes through.

Joe ROCKS. I can’t put it any better than that. I call him a Jedi knight. When I hired him to design and build my new website, he brought up technical points I wouldn’t have even known to ask about and created a beautiful and very functional site for me. He’s also wonderful to work with — calm, patient, and good at translating my long detailed emails into components for my site. He knows my industry, and he knows the Internet. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Joe has been a tremendous asset to our team. Without his experience and expertise, our current project would be nowhere near the quality it is. Joe has been assisting us primarily with wireframing and interaction design. Joe was able to jump right into work from day 1 (this was a total surprise to me). Joe’s experience as a visual designer was extremely helpful since he was able to forsee issues and come up with layout ideas that would be both flexible and intuitive for the end user. My biggest impression I have of Joe is that he is extremely dedicated to his work and in pleasing his clients. If something wasn’t quite what I expected, he immediately was able to come up with several other ideas that were fantastic. Joe was also very easy to work with from his incredible communication skills to his quality of work.

Joe has an exceptional taste when it comes to visual design. He’s an amazing UI and web designer, and always proved himself as a great leader. He is a person a of high integrity and is a great professional. I always found ways to learn from him. It was a pleasure working with such a wonderful person and artist like Joe.
